Jason Jordan
Hi, I'm Jason Jordan. I'm a Technology Expert with a foot in the Radio World. I'm a Board Member of West TV & PCGURU and you'll regularly find me on Sky News, Today Tonight, A Current Affair, Sunrise and The Morning Show.
I began my career in 1994 with IBM Perth as a Support Specialist for OS/2. I was promoted to Sydney in 1995 where I became Country Specialist for the Product. I subsequently took on a role with ISSC (IBM's Internal Support Company) as a Team Leader providing support to IBM's own internal staff. I returned to Perth in 1996 to take on a role at Woolworths HQ in Kewdale as Support Team Leader. In 1998 I was recruited by General Electric Capital IT Solutions to help manage the OS/2 Server Infrastructure at the Water Corporation. In 1999 I joined Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) supporting the WA Ministry of Justice. By 2001 I had won a role as an IT Manager at Woodside Petroleum. 2003 saw me join Sealcorp (now Asgard Wealth Management) as their Internet Support Manager. In 2004, I decided to take my skills into my own enterprise: PCGURU. Since then PCGURU has almost doubled in size every year. In 2007, I began a Tech Talkback segment on 882 6PR which evolved into a role with 6PR as a Talkback Presenter. Until April 2010, I had a regular role as Weekend Breakfast Presenter. I also performed Tech Talkback on Melbourne's 3AW. In addition to being Managing Director of PCGURU, I am also a Technology Commentator for the ABC & Mix 94.5 as well as Channel Seven's Sunrise & The Morning Show. In 2010, I started hosting "Undercurrent" on West TV. This is Perth's only totally local Current Affairs Program. During 2011, I have been a regular panelist on "Paul Murray Live" discussing the issues of the day and I now host "The Sunday Session with Jason Jordan" on Perth's 6PR. My ultimate ambition is to become a full-time Radio & Television Presenter but I also have an aspiration to be an Investment Angel / Venture Capitalist. I want to provide support to people with terrific business ideas.
